Finder and purchase-link privacy

Finder choices and privacy

Finder submissions

The finder does not require an account. When you submit your choices, those public answers are sent from your browser by POST to this site's matching service to produce results. The response is marked no-store. The browser also uses session storage on your device to preserve answers for resuming the finder during the current browser session; browser settings or clearing site data may remove them. This describes the finder interface, not the site's hosting access logs: standard request data may be processed by the host or security services.

Purchase details

Links from model assessments lead to fixed, editorial BuyerShortlists purchase-assessment pages. A finder result may carry the public answer values in a URL fragment so the central page can display the choices and offer a return link with the same answers. A fragment is not part of the ordinary HTTP request for the page. The central page treats the values as visitor-provided choices, not proof of a previous match, and displays them separately from its static assessment scenario.

Retailer links

The source-site finder does not send questionnaire answers to Amazon. The central page offers a clearly disclosed retailer link only after a visitor actively chooses it; it does not forward visitors automatically. The retailer receives the destination you choose and ordinary connection/referral information. Amazon's privacy practices are separate, so review its notices before continuing.
